The Social Setpiece is a newsletter I currently write and produce independently. It was born out of a desire to continue to develop my own content marketing skills. I began analysing content campaigns that resonated with me, mostly from the sporting world. After writing for a few months, I realised that publishing these case studies could be helpful for newer marketers, so The Social Setpiece was created.

Each edition of the Social Setpiece follows a similar format: a case study of one piece of fantastic sports content, followed by three actionable teachings that marketers and creators can take from it to improve their own work. While the goal is certainly to grow the newsletter and to see how far I can take it, this is still very much a project dedicated to bettering my own skills and learning as much as I can about my craft from a world I already follow quite heavily.
